A little about me…

I’m a Black, queer, femme with a theatre background— actor and playwright— before becoming a social worker. I was born in the South, spent young adulthood in the Midwest, and have called the Bay Area home ever since.

I believe strongly in the power of community and interdependence—we weren’t meant to figure out life all on our own. My values include compassion, curiosity, agency, and connection.

As a therapist, I see myself as a "Co-explorer" on your journey to living the life you want. I believe my role, in part, is to help create a space where we can quiet the noise, and you can hear your inner wisdom and figure out ways to move in alignment with that. I’ll bring my expertise, training, lived experience, and curiosity; you’ll bring your knowledge and wisdom about your life, body, experiences, and hopes. We’ll be a team.

I’m a fan of dancing, thunderstorms, and fireflies.
