Here is a little about myself that will hopefully be helpful in your path to finding a good fit therapist:
I firmly believe that you are the expert on your experiences; within you already is the the capacity to fully heal from past wounds. I see myself as a "Co-explorer" on your journey to living the life you desire and want to assist you in trusting your own inner wisdom.
I identify as a Black, Queer, ciswoman who worked as an actor, playwright, and director before becoming a social worker. My counseling experience and interests range: adults experiencing depression and anxiety; survivors of trauma; folks of color; people in the LGBTQIA community; folks dealing with self injury, body image, and self esteem issues; and individuals wanting a space to process their feelings from week to week.
