*Please note that I only offer virtual therapy.

As of October 2022, I have no availability for new therapy clients. I am, however, available for consultation services with other mental health professionals.

I identify as a Black, Queer, Femme. I work utilizing Womanist, relational, psychodynamic and somatic perspectives. Social justice is a critical part of my perspective; I bring that to my work. Translation:

  • I believe that strong and fulfilling community can support you in reaching your full potential, and I will work to support you in creating/deepening those relationships.

  • I believe that it’s worth exploring how events that happened in our past may be impacting our present responses to situations in ways we aren’t aware of. I’m a fan of increasing our awareness of these impacts so we can make conscious choices about how we want to move forward.

  • I believe that taking time to explore the interactions between us within the therapy room can often help us better understand patterns "in real life" that may be impacting your ability to obtain the life and relationships you desire.

  • I believe it is critical to have a space to identify, explore, and process the impact of societal oppressions, intergenerational trauma and resiliencies, and the “isms” on your life.

  • I believe that the mind and body are not separate entities. There is a deep well of information within our bodies-we just have to remember how to listen! I will support you in better understanding the impact of stress/trauma on our mind/body and explore techniques to utilize the wisdom of our bodies.

I am a Certified Brainspotting Practitioner. My trainers were John R. Edwards, LCSW, David Grand, PhD, Lisa Larson, LMFT, and Regina Faridnia, LCSW.
